“Jeanne was married for several years to my mother Rosalie Ashton-Pappas' first cousin James Williams. Jeanne, Jim, Rosalie, and their families grew up in the same Pasadena CA neighborhood, on S. Craig and Grand Oaks Streets. Although I came along a bit later, I also grew up in Pasadena, and knew all the players. In 2000 I started writing family history, and reconnected at that time with Jim, and Jeanne, then happily living in Pacific Grove. The three of us enjoyed so many beautiful visits.”
