“Oh, my best cousin, you battled this disease for so many years and would never let it overwhelm you. Your last months were a testament to your ferocious fighting spirit. In growing up, I was lucky to have you watching over me. You and my mom(Auntie Ann) were the only people to give us credit for our accomplishments and praise for our children. We knew you had our backs. We miss you but you deserve the freedom from pain and uncertainty. We will look to the skies to see you fly far above clouds.”
