He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Russ and Bertha Russ; and his brother Hilmer. He is survived by: his wife Ilia Russ; his children, Allen L Russ Jr., Andrea Weist (Toby) and Annette Vegas (Tony); his grandchildren, Brian Weist (Kristi), Brenton Weist (Sing) and Nicholas Vegas; his great grandchildren, Jordan and Lucas Weist; and his sister Shirley Hicks (Dolan).
