She was predeceased by: her mother Maria Sanchez of Jesus; her stepfather Octavio Sanchez; her grandmother Marina Tovar; her aunt Consuelo Felix; her brothers, Gilberto, Frank Rodarte and Jerry Sanchez; her grandson Jordan Rodriguez (Joaquin Diaz); and her pet Guantes.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel, Joaquin Jr. (Sally), Maricela, Gabe (Christy) and Adriana Diaz; and her siblings, Rogaciano (Rosa), Gus (Wendy), Herman and Elena. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
