It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ofelia Rodarte (Oxnard, California), who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Maria Sanchez of Jesus; her stepfather Octavio Sanchez; her grandmother Marina Tovar; her aunt Consuelo Felix; her brothers, Gilberto, Frank Rodarte and Jerry Sanchez; her grandson Jordan Rodriguez (Joaquin Diaz); and her pet Guantes.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel, Joaquin Jr. (Sally), Maricela, Gabe (Christy) and Adriana Diaz; and her siblings, Rogaciano (Rosa), Gus (Wendy), Herman and Elena. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Santa Clara Mortuary (2370 N H St, Oxnard, CA 93036). A rosary will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Santa Clara Mortuary Chapel (2370 N H St, Oxnard, CA 93036). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (2511 S C St, Oxnard, CA 93033).
