She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie M. Mitchell-Rogers and Lawrence C. Rogers; her husband Thomas Penson; her son Timothy Penson; and her brothers, Lloyd, Carl, Howard and Terry Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Toni Gooden, Tania Menard and Thomas L. Penson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Christopher (Nikole), Julian (Jasmine), Tatiana, Timea, René and Tileya; her great grandchildren, Ariana, Serenity, Julian, Jr. and Justice; her great great grandchild Kainoah; her brother William Rogers; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Rogers and Mary Rogers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a multitude of loving friends.
She was involved with the Women's Ministry and attended church regularly until the pandemic.
