She was predeceased by: her children, Victor Alejandro and Mary Patricia; and her husband Onias Aviña. She is survived by: her children, Jessica (Chuyita), Juan Lorenzo, Pete Onias, Frank Aviña and Connie Aviña-Granados; her grandchildren, Jessica, Vidal, Greg, Mayra, Monique and Victor Jr.; and her siblings, Elva Murillo, Bessie Magaña, Christina Corona, Nestor Careaga and Socorro Angeles.
