He is survived by: his friend Isabel; his wife Isabel Gonzales; his daughter Michelle Gonzales Gallegos; his grandchildren, Manuel, Monica, Joey, Christopher, Kristin, Richard, Joshua, Jorge and Tyler; his brother Rosendo "Chendo" Marquez; his sister-in-law Nellie Gonzales; and his son-in-law Jorge Gallegos.

“We are so deeply sorry for the loss of Manuel (Manny). He will be deeply missed by all of us. We all have very fond memories of him. We really enjoyed his and Isabelle's visits to Fresno. We had lots of enjoyable memories. It is very hard to see such a good man pass away but we do have the hope of the resurrection. So we know that at least is not in suffering in pain. We love each and every one of you Isabelle, Dominick, Michelle, and Adrell. Love Eluterio, Adelaide, and Lydia Gonzales”
