It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Carpenter of Oxnard, California, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Leland Samuel Carpenter, Sr.; his sister Beverly Dalton; and his daughter Nelia Frances Carpenter. He is survived by: his mother Pauline Carpenter; his wife Felicidad Carpenter; and his children, Ilene, Sam and Mary Grace. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Santa Clara Mortuary (2370 N H St, Oxnard, CA 93036). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Santa Clara Church (323 S E St, Oxnard, CA 93030).
