It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Vogel of Oxnard, California, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Vogel and Myrtle Butterfield Vogel; and his former wife Angelita "Helen" Vogel. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Vogel; his daughter Katherine Skowera (Jonathan); his stepchildren, Lorina Yahatta (Nat) and Jimmy Ledesma (Olivia); his siblings, Paul Vogel, Lora Mueller (Ed), Mary Carson (Ernie), Theresa Baugh (Stephen) and Susan Burgener; and his grandchildren, Vincent Skowera, Brandon Yahatta and Angel Yahatta.
