He is survived by: his children, Steve Lopez (Maria), Francine Robinson (Mac), Alice Baum (John), Gina Esherick (Joseph), Mia Ditto (Brad) and Renee Castorena (Gil Adam); his grandchildren, Araceli Lopez, Anysse Lopez, Stephanie Baum, Andrew Brown and Sophia Esherick; and his sisters, Laura Escobar and Sylvia Ramirez.
