He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wedemeyer and Loretta Wedemeyer (Donahue); his sister Joan Wedemeyer; his former wife Susan Wedemeyer (Sue); his brother Mark Wedemeyer; and his brother-in-law Tom O'Dorisio.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie; his grandchildren, Diego, Christopher, Harlee, Alana and Isabella; his siblings, Naomi Kennedy (Don) of Olathe, KS, Austin Wedemeyer (Mary) of Iowa City, IA, Lowell Wedemeyer (Linda), Atley Wedemeyer (Susie) of Omaha, NE, Mary Sue O'Dorisio of Iowa City, IA, Jerry Wedemeyer (Jacque) of Bridgeport, WV, Kate Wedemeyer (Steve Zemke) of Anchorage, AK, Celine Wedemeyer (Kevin Shea) of Pasadena, CA and Miriam Wedemeyer of Huntington Beach, CA; and his children, Goose, Grimm, Peanuts and Dennis. He is also survived by his sons and/or grandchildren.
