With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Barnett Vernon of Oxnard, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Barnett and Ella Clark Barnett; and her siblings, Norris, George Barnett and Jane Ellen Barnett.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Brown, Paul Vernon and Martha Perez. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home & Cremation Service (757 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those who wish send a donation to the American Red Cross in thanks for their work in the Los Angeles fires.
