He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Shamblin and Emery Shamblin; and his siblings, Diane Oates, Carol Elanie Gowen and Danny Shamblin.
He is survived by: his sister Elaine; his wife Judy Regis; his daughters, Angel Shamblin (Jeanine) of Chico and Shannon Sharp of Chico; his grandchildren, Carson Sharp and Keely Sharp; and his brother Dennis Shamblin.
