With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale LeRoy Prater of Oroville, California, who passed away on June 13, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Frank Prater (Sophia) and Lulu May Roy. He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Hamrick (James) of Lincoln, CA and Virginia McElwain (Dennis) of Port Orchard, WA; his daughters, Sandra Kratville (Steve) of Missoula, MT and Traci Moreno (Dave Akers) of Morro Bay, CA; and also, Anna Elrod (Norman), Vera Dixon (James), Lester "Pete" Prater (Ruth) and Hazel Salmen-LiVecchi (Robert). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
