He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Chapman and Mary Emma Chapman; his brother Robert Chapman; his daughter Julie Chapman Dunn; and his friend Jack Biggs.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; and his children, Marianne Chapman, Nicole Chapman, Karen Wilson, Don Elliott, Bill Chapman and Dennis Wilson. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
