He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Espiritu and Fructuosa Espiritu; and his siblings, Marcelo Espiritu, Benjamin Espiritu and Emily Floresca.
He is survived by: his wife Kiyoko; his children, Jerry, Anthony, Katherine and Karen; and his brother Ernesto. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
