He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Gehring and Mary Gehring; his brother Dale; his former wife Nina Gallegos; his daughters, Michelle, Candace, Marguerite and Christina; his wife Janet Snodgrass; and his children, Phillip, Curt and Karen Rustenhoven. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
