He is survived by: his wife Eugenie Saunders Halland; his children, Matthew Halland, Stephen Halland and Kathy Halland; and his stepchildren, Deborah Mueller, Dayna Bowman and Jack Schlichtmann. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
