He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ethel Loos and Edgar Loos; his wife Beverly; his daughters, Karen Dixon (Alan) and Debra O'Brien (Sean); and his grandchildren, Cayley, Nolan O'Brien, Zane and Brynn Dixon.

“Thinking of Ron today. He was a good friend to me in our time in the ROTC at George Washington High. A highlight was a rustic camping trip we hitchhiked to Yosemite and camped in an open space in the valley, nobody bothered us!
