She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Utterback Harris Pleasant and Raymond Isaiah Pleasant; and her siblings, Naomi Barkley, Lucille Lynem and Thomas Carlton Pleasant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Solana Rehne and Karen Hubbard (Ava "Solana") of Orange County, CA; her niece Donna Barkley of Cincinnati, OH; her nephew Daniel Michael Lynem Sr.; and her cousins, Jackie DuBois, Sharon Little, Alicia Howard, Spunner Johnson, Rose Cunningham and Geneva. She is also survived by great nieces and great nephew.
