It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Sonia Granville of Orange, California, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Joanne Sonia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joanne Sonia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She is survived by: her significant other Gary; her daughters, Greta (Michael Hambsch), Kari (Peter Boyer) and Betsy (John Mitchell); and her brother Stephen Nelson of Blaine, WA.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; by fourteen great grandchildren.
