He was predeceased by: his grandfather Ernesto Rivera. He is survived by: his parents, Cynthia Rivera and Gregory A. Gallaway; his friend Jazmine Chavira; his siblings, Andrea Miller (Shaun), Michael Karkau (Erin) and Vincent Karkau; his pet Elena Gallaway; his nieces and nephews, Anthony, Noah, Maximus, Kayla, Ava and Clara; and his grandparents, Francis, Sue Gallaway and Maria Rivera.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Improv Collective at improvcollective.fun, honoring Gregory's love for local theatre.
