Barbara Christina Veliskakis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2024, at the age of 84, Barbara Christina Veliskakis (Orange, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frederick William and Elizabeth Margaret Gordon Bauer; her siblings, Fred, Bruce and Christina; her children, Danae Woodward (Russell), Neobe Velis and Kosta Velis (Danielle); and her grandchildren, James Woodward, Nathaniel Woodward, Breck Zwanch, Nadja Zwanch and Athena Woodward. She was also cherished by "Mema" to her grandchildren, was a fearless woman, a cherished mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, loved and admired by her family and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Barbara's memory to the Wing Haven Foundation, the bird sanctuary and garden where Barbara volunteered.
