She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Woods and Leola Woods (Tillotson); her husband Gene (El Toro Marine); her daughter Mary Colgan-Bennetts; and her son-in-law Buzz Bennetts.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Colgan (Colleen), Pat Colgan, Margey Green (Tony), Norma Colgan, Nancy Ellingson (Rick), Jan Rock (John), Dan Colgan (Donice), Bob Colgan (Lisa) and Rose Coles (Brian); her grandchildren, Nina, Sean Colgan (Kristi), Maureen, Katie Potter (Jeff), Sara Goodman (Russell), Mike Green, Leslie Ellingson, Stacy Eldred (Travis), Matthew Ellingson (Alyssa), Jonathan Rock (Angie), Bailey Perez (Gregory), Mackenzie Enright (Charlie), Cheyenne Mocerino (Jason), Jackson Colgan, Nicholas Colgan (Sydney), Kasey Colgan and Max Colgan; her great grandchildren, Cristian, Carly, Emma, Amy, Riley, James, Kenzie, Allyson, Nate, Evan, Ryan, Luca, Jedd and Baby Perez; and her brothers, Dean Woods and George Woods (Kathy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

“God bless the Colgan family. Mary Alice was my best friend during grade school. I have happy memories of sleepovers at the Colgan home. Everyone had a task, such as after dinner drying 25 pieces of silverware. There was a dog that would say its prayers before bed, and a giant fish named Oscar in a tank that looked like a treasure chest. Mrs. Colgan would quietly take each visiting child aside and and ask if they were having fun or were homesick. I could go on! Love you all! - Mary Susan Kennedy”
