It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Powell Mulholland (Orange Cove, California), born in Winnetka, Illinois, who passed away on September 2, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Harold Powell and Elizabeth Powell; and her children, Dick, Kay, Jeannette Bauer (David), Christine Mulholland, Tom Mulholland and Betty Chisom (Allen). She is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Kay was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and with the support of her children and caregivers, she lived at home as independently as possible until she moved to Quail Park Memory Care in Visalia, CA, where she had the best care until her death on Sunday, September 2, 2018.
