He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Guadalupe Lemus of Fonseca; and his son Arnulfo Fonseca. He is survived by: his children, David Fonseca, Luis Fonseca, Pedro Fonseca, Lupe Fonseca, Yolanda Fonseca, George Fonseca and Carlos Fonseca. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
