He is survived by: his wife Joanna Smith; his sons, Shea Bernard Smith (Jimmy Raynor) and Gary Dehon Smith; his siblings, Margene Gray, Fannie Gibson, Hobert Smith (Rochelle), Randy Smith (Beverley), Angela Olden and Rosalyn Tucker; his grandsons, Derrick Smith and Durrell Smith (Lete); his great grandchildren, Naomi, Jeremiah, Laila, Mya, Jordan, Sarai and Ezra; and his sisters-in-law, Frieda Walker and Johnni Mae Walker. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
