It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Carol Vander Leest (Ontario, California), born in Artesia, California, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Sybesma and Nellie Sybesma (Vander Stelt); her husband Dewey; and her daughter Amber. She is survived by: her children, David Vander Leest (Kelly) of Sergeant Bluff, Laura Benken (Joseph) of San Dimas and Julie Vander Leest of Ontario, California; and her siblings, Benjamin Sybesma (Mary-Ann) of Ripon, David Sybesma (Carol), Roger Sybesma (Phyllis) of Dalhart, Texas and Marilyn Stone (Carl) of Corona. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
