He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughters, Laura (Jon Boggs) and Pamela (Artie Salgado); his grandsons, Jacob Boggs and Michael Salgado; his sister Carole Deem; and his niece Dianna Deem.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Jim's name to the American Cancer Society or Vitas Healthcare (Hospice).
