He is survived by: his children, Melissa May, Erika Gardner Strumwasser, Katelyn Gardner Leon, Nicole Gardner and Seth Gardner; his wife Erma Nevarez Gardner; his sons-in-law, Stephen May, Kevin Strumwasser, Ramiro Leon and Kenny Jones; his grandchildren, Ethan May, Zoe Strumwasser and Kody Jones; and his siblings, Martin, Colin, Malcolm and Sheila. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
