She was predeceased by: her parent Berendina Meurs (Buunk); and her brother Benard Meurs. She is survived by: her spouse Evert Scheeringa; her children, Betty Ann Scheeringa, Steve Patriquin of Port Elgin, Bill Scheeringa and Tamara Barrick of Kitchener; her grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Melissa, Chris and Johnathan; her siblings, Johanna Bouwmeester of Niagara Falls, Jane, Bill Humphries of Kitchener, Brenda and John Needham of Manheim; and her sibling-in-law Ingird Meurs of Guelph.
