He is survived by: his mother Ramona Acosta; his wife Antonia Diaz; his siblings, Andy Diaz and Mavel Diaz; and his children, Amber, Bernie Jr., Chris, Crystal, Manuel and Sierra Diaz. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren.
