She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Jioras and Anna Jioras (Bukroff); her husband Richard D. Alvarez; her son Richard Jr.; her stepmother Kay Jioras; her sister Dorothy Avery; and her grandchildren, Bryan McGowan and Brenda Avery.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Waite (Mark), Anthony Alvarez (late Beth Alvarez) and Victoria Welte (James); and her brothers, Harry Jioras Jr. (Evelyn) and Richard Jioras (Nancy). She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
