He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Banta and Mable Banta. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Banta; his sons, Mike and Ricky Banta; and his siblings, Lavena Harper and Jack Banta. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sierra View Memorial Park (4900 Olive Ave, Olivehurst, CA 95961).
