She was predeceased by: her parent Beecher Smith; her husband G. R. "Van" Van De Mheen; her son Rick Purves; her brother Donald Smith; and her mother Virginia Everson.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Murphy (Tom); her grandsons, Derek, Tomlyn and Murphy; her son Michael Van De Mheen (Deirdre); her grandsons, Scott and Matthew Van De Mheen; her son Todd Van De Mheen; her granddaughter Niki Galindo (Manuel); her great grandchildren, Enzo and Indy; and her brother David Everson. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
