She was predeceased by: her significant other Rolland Fitzgerald; her daughter Fredaline Vandefraft (Doug); her parents, Joseph Wingate and Evelyn Wingate; and her brothers, Fayette, Wayne and Joseph Wingate.

She is survived by: her son Michael Fitzgerald Rhonda (Corinne); and her grandchildren, Twyla Marcrum (Chris), Dennise Jones (Craig), Timothy Fitzgerald (Jackie), Camille Powell (Justin), Bryan Fitzgerald (Bianca) and Tyler Harris Megan (Alessandro). She is also survived by 14 Great Grandchildren.
