We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2025, at the age of 86, Teresa Ortega of Oceanside, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Teresa leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her husband Gonzalo Ortega; and her children, Armando Ortega of Escondido, California, Carlos Ortega of Solana Beach, California and Monica Galvan of Fallbrook.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the El Camino Memorial (340 Melrose Ave, Encinitas, CA 92024). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Leo Mission Church (936 Genevieve St, Solana Beach, CA 92075). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:30 PM at the Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Mortuary and Crematory (1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054).
