He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Mary (Lupchak); his children, Jennifer and Robert; his sister Mary Jane Yacynych; his aunt Elizabeth; and his uncle Michael Kropilak.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann (Pettina); his daughter Melissa (Christian Tracy); his grandchildren, Olivia, Hannah and Christian; his brothers-in-law, Phil Pettina (Carol) and Walter Yacynych; and his nephews, Dr. Robert Yacynych (Marianne) and John Yacynych (Maureen).
Viewing was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel (1622 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown, PA 15905). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (124 Maple Ave, Johnstown, PA 15901).
