He is survived by: his wife Gloria (Vano); his son Salvatore; his sister Loretta Bolar (Cooksey); his grandchildren, Tiberius, Tony, Valeria, Sandra and Natalie; his great grandchildren, Enzo, Yann, Emma, Alissa and Nolan; his stepsons, Alief Cross, Darryl Cross and Omari Cross; his brothers, Calvin, Adolph and Theodore Cooksey; his son Tariq Al-Amal; and his granddaughter Traci Denene Cooksey.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the W. F. Gormley & Sons (2015 Capitol Ave, Sacramento, CA 95811).
