Laura Skipper-Kallal Obituary

We bid farewell to Laura Skipper-Kallal of Oakland, California, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2025 at the age of 37. Laura touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Loyd, Darlene Moon, John and Maxine Skipper. She is survived by: her parents, John Skipper and Kathy Skipper of Oakland; her husband Dr. Robert Kallal; her children, Ruth Louise Kallal and David Henry Kallal; her sister Rachel Skipper-Carter (Marcus); her in-laws, Robin, Donald Micheletti, Mark and Mandy Kallal; her sister-in-law Jennifer Cecil (Billy); and her nieces and nephews, Ellie and Ethan. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as numerous close friends.

In lieu of flowers, for those who would like to do something in Laura's memory, a contribution may be made to the children's college fund by sending a check payable to Robert Kallal c/o C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, MD, and noting "college fund" in the memo of the check.
