He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Halpern and Lillian Halpern (Caryl Halpern); and his brother Bernard Halpern. He is survived by: his sons, Steve (Linda) and Jeff Halpern (Candace); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Melissa), Allison and Alexander Halpern; his uncle Alfred; his brother Bernie; and his nephew Nicholas Lane.
