He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Barber and Donna Wilson; and his brother Gregory Barber. He is survived by: his wife Laura Barber; his daughter Kimberly Conway; his son-in-law Arthur Conway; his daughter Rebecca Barber-Grabast; his son-in-law Jon Grabast; his grandson Robert Barber; his daughter-in-law Jenny Barber; his grandson-in-law Michael Barber; his sister Kelley Virden; and his grandchildren, Narayan Bibbo, Amelie Conway, Lillian Barber, Ariella Barber, Promise Barber, Noah Barber, Selah Barber, Destyni Grabast and Lincoln Barber.

The family respectfully asks that in lieu of floral arrangements, donations can be made to a ministry Robert and Jenny Barber belong to, YWAM Los Angeles.
