He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Athena Schlyer Carmichael (Weston), Magnus Schlyer (Jessica), Karlson Schlyer, Nicholas Ryan, Hans Schlyer, Kelly and Boden Dixon; his great grandchildren, Clyde and Liam Carmichael; his parents, Ben Olaf and Astrid; and his siblings, Ben Oberg and Betty Broberg.
He is survived by: his children, Kristin Ryan (John) of Cohasset, MA, Katrina Schlyer (Kurt) of Leavenworth, WA and Kamdin Dixon; and his sister Lilly Lanphear.
Services are private to immediate family due to the coronavirus pandemic.
