It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Steven Fornes of Nuevo, California, born in Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Fairfield Fornes and Catherine Anna Fornes; and his siblings, Lars, Jim and Karen.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Michelle Fornes and Davina Stefanie Fornes (Christopher Compton); his grandsons, Garrett Compton, Alexander Zettas and William Loyd (Brittany Loyd); his siblings, Linda, Terry, Don, Ellie and Janet; and his great grandchild Levi Loyd.
