He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregorio Betancourt and Valentina Betancourt (Midwest) of Nuevo Leon, Mexico.; and his siblings, Trinidad, Salomon, Maria, Ruben, Oscar, Lorenzo, Joe and Lindolfo.
He is survived by: his wife Hermelinda; and his daughters, Corina, Nelda, Zulema and Isabel. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
