He was predeceased by: his grandson Joey Hetschel. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Azevedo; his children, Deb (Jeff), Valerie, Mike (Ilene) and Rich (Sharon); his grandchildren, Daniel Rajan-Hetschel (Shivani), Nicole Harrelson (Matt), Alyssa Figueroa (Ivan), Tony Stephens (Krissy), Ryan Avella (Willa), Sean Avella and Esther Goldey-Avella; his great grandchildren, Henry, Lucas, Tyler, Emily, Harper, Haley and Josephine; and his sister Virginia.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Loretto Church (1806 Novato Blvd, Novato, CA 94947).
