Joan (Yunck) Harkins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan (Yunck) Harkins of Novato, California, born in South Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on June 3, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Adam Yunck and Helen Grace Yunck (Farrall); her husband James L. Harkins; her siblings, John Adam Yunck, Jr. (Ruth) of Okemos, MI, Richard Theodore Yunck (Veda) of Pinehurst, NC and Barbara M. Hughes (Edward) of Bangor; her daughter-in-law Barbara Hilda Harkins (Mitchell) of Gilroy; and her grandson Stephen James Maki.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Anne Maki (David) of Manteca, CA, Nancy Joan Harkins of Chicago, James Richard Harkins of Cotati and John Edward Harkins of Gilroy, CA; and her grandchildren, Katie Grace Maki, Emily Nicole Harkins and Andrew William Maki.
Memorial donations to honor Joan may be made to Hospice of Petaluma or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
