He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Skidmore and James Skidmore. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Jim Skidmore (Jo), Steve Skidmore and Laurie Madias (Mike); and his grandchildren, Sam, Alison (Josh), Nick, Trish (Max), Jack, Robert, Christopher and Michael.

He also served on the Board of Directors and was a founding director of the Olympic Club Foundation.
