He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Clinton Caldwell and Ida Nelle Yarger. He is survived by: his wife Beth Gesler Caldwell; his sons, John Caldwell (Marian) of Novato and Peter Caldwell (Michelle) of Scottsdale, AZ; his grandchildren, Megan Schwartz (John) of Novato, Marissa Caldwell MD of San Diego, Bennett Caldwell of Auburn, AL and Kaley Caldwell of Lexington, KY; and his great grandchild Madeline Schwartz.
