Andrea Mouille Obituary

Andrea P. Mouille died peacefully at her home in Novato on Friday, October 29, 2021. Andrea was born on May 7, 1930 in San Francisco to John and Pearl Striethorst. She acquired polio at a young age, but it never held her back. At 16, she met and fell in love with Joseph T. Mouille at Camp Mather in California. After waiting five long years, she was 21 when they married on July 14, 1951.

Andrea and Joe had eight children and a lot of happy years together until his untimely passing in 1983. She and Joe are now dancing together in heaven. Andrea and her sister and best friend, Winnie Brughelli, who passed in 2015, would spend hours together laughing until they cried. Andrea is survived by her eight children Joseph P Mouille (Andrea), Mary Biondi (Steve), Patricia Mouille (Kostas Botaitis), Kathleen Harwood, Cecilia Dahl (Andrew), Margaret Collin (Fabrice), Sean Mouille (Dominique), Jeanne Mouille and by her loving caregiver and friend, Diana; nine grandchildren, Christian, Claire, Rachel, Mary, Nicole, Roxane, Joey, Romain and Jake; four great grandchildren Lance, Jameson, Denver, Henry and countless nieces and nephews.

To know Andrea Mouille was to love her. She will forever be remembered for her sense of humor, optimism and genuine kindness. She listened, she cared and found the goodness in everything and everybody.
